Centrale Marseille is the laurate of the call for projects of the support program for the development of French higher education in Africa (ADEFSA). 146 projects have been submitted, 26 have been selected by the commission. They cover 38 countries and involve 101 French higher education establishments. Among them, Centrale Marseille.

The project of our school, carried out jointly with Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering (CUFE) for a period of two years (April 2020 - March 2022) will put in place a double degree Master focused on the theme of environmental engineering. The pedagogy used will focus on skills approach and extensive use of digital technology. ADEFSA  allocated a budget of € 94.2 k.

It is the experience accumulated by Centrale Marseille in the recent deployment of its training in Engineering of Complex Systems which integrates these various aspects and will be shared with the University of Cairo Engineering Department in the double degree project.

The Erasmus + FORMASUP Apprenticeship Mobility in Europ (FAME) Consortium project led by the Formasup PACA teams, from the universities of Aix-Marseille, Avignon, Nice, Toulon, INSTN and Centrale Marseille has been accredited by the Erasmus + Agency of Bordeaux. By joining their forces, the partner institutions pursue a main objective: compensate the imbalance in international mobility between learning and initial training, so the students don't have to hesitate between the two options.

In addition to the allocation of 271 financial aids to apprentices each year, the FAME Consortium gives its partners national visibility, important in financial negotiations with professional organizations (OPCO) or with host companies (among others for maintaining remuneration during the mobility period), and international, as a guarantee of quality with host organizations abroad.

The Erasmus + Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) constitutes a preliminary and compulsory step for the participation of higher educational establishments in the various actions of the Erasmus + program for the period 2021-2027. In this new charter, our School makes strong commitments at the environmental and citizen level. Emphasis is also placed on staff mobility and incoming mobility, a priority for balancing flows. Cooperation at research level will also be reinforced: joint supervision of theses, internships in university laboratories, etc.

Centrale Marseille applied to Erasmus + for three mobility grants in countries outside Europe:

• The University of Rochester (United States)
• Doshisha University (Japan)
• UTEC (Peru)

Several double-degree agreements are also being negotiated with the UCD College of Engineering and Architecture, the National School of Engineers of Monastir, the National School of Engineers of Tunis and the National School of Mines of Rabat...

The training of engineering students at Centrale Marseille is highly internationalized thanks to compulsory international mobility of, at least, one semester abroad. This cultural richness is also the result of an inclusive mobility campaign that is open to the world. The School makes every effort to support these international students and provide them with, among other things, material and financial support. Recently, Eiffel excellence scholarships were obtained for 5 Brazilian students out of a total of 142 scholarships.
